New dialog box

To create new objects from scratch, you use the New dialog box:

When the New dialog box opens, you select the appropriate tab page for the object you want to create:

Access to wizards painters and tools

The New dialog box has six tab pages from which you access wizards, painters, and tools:

Start Wizards

Wizards for creating new applications

Object

New objects (all types of user objects, structures, menus, functions, and windows)
Object wizards for creating deployable components

DataWindow

DataWindow wizards for creating a DataWindow object in a specific presentation style

Database

Database, Query, and Data Pipeline painters

Project

Several versions of the Project painter (generators for building an executable application or generating a component) and project creation wizards

Tool

Tools such as the Library painter, the Debugger, DW Syntax, and Profiling tools
